Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is
available in Chicago, IL, for a contract position covering
maternity leave. This role focuses on providing resource support
for students in grades 6 through 8 within a school setting. The
ideal candidate will have experience working with middle school
students and a strong background in special education strategies
and accommodations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized
instruction and support to students with special needs in grades
6-8 Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with general
education teachers and support staff Monitor student progress and
adjust instructional methods accordingly Foster an inclusive
classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate
regularly with families and administration Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to promote student success Qualifications:
Valid state certification in Special Education teaching Experience
teaching resource classes for middle school students (grades 6-8)
Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
practices Ability to create differentiated lesson plans tailored to
student needs Effective communication and teamwork skills Location:
