Warehouse & Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Summary Full-time | Monday-Friday | 6:30 am-3:00 pm, or until completion The Warehouse Maintenance and Cleaning Associate is an essential part of our warehouse operation and plays a key role in ensuring other team members are able to safely and efficiently complete their work, as well as sustaining high morale and job satisfaction by keeping the warehouse clean and organized. This position is responsible for performing routine general building and equipment maintenance, and cleaning tasks in the warehouse areas of operation. Job Description and Duties Utilize a forklift to move product, skids, and equipment as needed Complete walk through of facility to review condition of warehouse and provide management ongoing feedback Respond quickly to cleaning situations such as spills or tipped over product etc. Troubleshoot and maintain toilets, sinks, small appliances and equipment, routine electrical repairs etc. Build rapport with team members and promote cleanliness and organizational goals Ensure facility and office has adequate tools and resources available for associates to perform cleaning and organizational tasks Address tipped pallets in warehouse racking Ensure aisles are kept clean of debris and obstacles that hinder equipment traffic Operate floor scrubbing machine Aid in collecting and/or repairing damaged product Ensure excess shrink wrap is cut from pallets and product is being stored neatly Routinely sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and empty trash cans in various work areas Manage area dedicated to storing damaged pallets Ensure warehouse equipment is being kept in good condition and is visually pleasing by wiping down, dusting, and painting. Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as landscaping, cleaning debris from exterior dock areas, washing and drying windows, and snow blowing and salting Point of contact with various contractors to act as a liaison between contractors and management. Qualifications : Warehouse, forklift, and cleaning experience a plus Ability to proficiently operate a variety of powered industrial trucks: including RCs, SCs, SPs, floor scrubbers, and scissors lifts.
