Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available at an
elementary school in Arlington Heights, IL, for the current school
year on a contract basis. This role involves working closely with
students who have diverse learning needs to support their academic,
social, and emotional growth within an inclusive classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized
education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs Provide
specialized instruction in academic and social skills for students
with disabilities Collaborate with general education teachers,
support staff, and families to ensure successful integration and
progress Monitor student performance and maintain detailed records
to track achievement and growth Adapt teaching methods and
materials to meet the varied learning styles and abilities of
students Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and
professional development opportunities Desired Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience
working with elementary-aged students in a special education
setting Strong understanding of special education laws, practices,
and instructional strategies Ability to effectively manage a
classroom and engage students with diverse needs Excellent
communication and teamwork skills Location: Arlington Heights, IL
(Elementary School) Duration: Contract position for the current
