(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A school in Cicero, IL is seeking a skilled Sign
Language Interpreter to support effective communication and
accessibility for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. This role is
vital in fostering an inclusive educational environment, ensuring
students have equal access to classroom instruction and school
activities. Responsibilities include: Providing clear and accurate
sign language interpretation during classroom lessons, school
events, and meetings. Facilitating communication between students,
teachers, and staff. Assisting with individual and group
educational activities by interpreting instructional content.
Supporting students in both academic and social situations to
promote inclusion. Traveling to multiple school locations as needed
within the area to provide interpretation services. Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong
interpreting skills. Experience working in educational settings,
preferably with K-12 students. Ability to adapt interpreting
techniques to various classroom environments and student needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliability and
willingness to travel for assignments within the designated area.
