opportunity is for a General Education Teacher specializing in
English Language Learners (ELL) in Chicago, IL. The role involves
teaching K-8 students in a dynamic school environment with a focus
on implementing curriculum and fostering literacy development.
Fluency in Spanish is essential to effectively support bilingual
students and enhance classroom communication. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective instruction aligned with curriculum
standards for K-8 students. Utilize superior content knowledge and
multiple literacy concepts to support diverse learners. Foster an
inclusive classroom environment that supports English language
acquisition. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in
professional development. Monitor student progress and adapt
instructional strategies to meet individual needs. Qualifications
and Experience: Valid Illinois State Teaching License or Substitute
License (actively applying candidates considered). Bachelors Degree
from an accredited institution. Proven experience implementing
curriculum with strong literacy instruction skills. Fluency in
Spanish required to communicate and support bilingual students.
Location and Hours: Based in Chicago, IL. 37.5 hours per week.
