An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher in Dekalb, IL, working Monday through Friday with a 40-hour workweek. This position involves providing specialized instruction to 3rd-5th grade students in English Language Arts (ELA), with responsibilities extending to serving as a building substitute teacher. Caseloads will be assigned based on individual experience and licensure, offering a tailored and supportive working environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver effective special education services and instruction to students in grades 3-5, focusing on ELA. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs. Serve as a building substitute teacher when needed, ensuring continuity of instruction and support. Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
