Subject matterexpertise is less important than the ability to lead and execute complexprojects.Working alongside a team of engineers, you'll be responsiblefor creating drawings and simulations using software tools and resourcessupporting our clients' overall project goals.--You'll be apart of teams diverse in culture and discipline, working to meet the clients'needs as a cohesive unit. • Substation physical layout and electrical clearances.
• Work in a team environment, and to coordinate the work of various engineering disciplines and contractors to complete an integrated project.
• Routinely uses higher-level commands, time saving programs and routines.
• Drafting on industrial projects that include one-line, three-line, schematic, and general arrangement drawings.
• Drafter responsibilities include utilizing and following specific codes (NEC), reference material, CAD standards, and the ability to use application software effectively with a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Interpret engineer's notes and sketches and create detailed working drawings will be necessary.
• The successful candidate must also be able to multi-task and work under strict deadlines.Location:----Waukesha, WI Skills/Requirements
  • Associate--degree in either Design arena or Technical Drafting field with at least 2-5 years of experience.
  • Advanced understanding of design software such as: AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel to develop the design deliverables.
  • Effectively use multiple application packages where necessary including advanced level commands.
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize new design software programs.
  • Advanced ability to utilize both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings.
