Job Description:
The compliance engineer -will focus on achieving required
product compliance for the engineering team. This includes tasks
such as developing department procedures, representing the
engineering department in compliance audits, as well as advising
verification, validation, and testing.Responsibilities: -
Develop, maintain, and improve design
processes that enhance the speed and quality for the department,
without introducing cumbersome obstacles to productivityAdvise
engineering team members regarding proper risk management,
verification, and validation activitiesPerform initial analysis for
new safety standards and gap analysis when needed for revised
safety standardsContinually develop and maintain knowledge of
compliance requirements for fitness, medical, domestic, and
international marketsMaintain compliance for existing products by
isolating and resolving variance and non-conformance issuesAdvise
engineering team members throughout the product life cycle, from a
compliance perspectiveRepresent the engineering department in
compliance and regulatory auditsManage external testing
requirements, including the interfacing with external labs for
product safety testing.Lead efforts to develop, operate, and
maintain testing equipment, fixtures, and procedures for internal
testing and validationTogether with the Quality department, inform,
coach, and audit all departments of their respective compliance
responsibilities. - -Requirements: -

multiple areas of the design process -

and CE requirements - -Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or
similar
Specific experience with regulatory
tasks in the fitness industry preferredProficient in the following
computer programs:MS Office Software (Excel, Word, Outlook,
SharePoint, Project) -Powered by JazzHR
