Overview









We are seeking Co-Ops to work with our Advanced Development and New Product Development teams to design and develop the next generation of safe access and storage products. Our Co-Op program is designed to give you practical and meaningful experience in all aspects of the engineering design and development of new products. You will apply the engineering fundamentals you have learned so far while working in a cross functional team. You can expect to be involved in all aspects of the design and development process, from initial brainstorms to concept development and analysis, through development testing and design for manufacture. With our high level of vertical integration you will have the opportunity to design for and work with processes varying from metal fabrication to plastic injection molding to pultruding fiberglass composites. As a Co-Op at ProDriven, you will receive learning experiences and meaningful work that are both challenging and rewarding. ProDriven co-ops obtain technical, leadership and professional development skills that will put them well on their way to building a successful career in engineering Co-op assignments are minimum of 1 semester at a time, full-time (40 hours per week) onsite with a minimum of 2 semesters total.

Qualifications









Your experience(s), education, and knowledge: * Eligible students must be currently enrolled in the school year of the assignment and the semester following their assignment. Candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program. * Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a core engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials and Material Science or other relevant engineering disciplines) GPA of 3.0 or greater Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direct supervision Candidate must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during each Co-op session Students must be able to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar) proficiency or the ability to learn * Rising juniors or graduate students preferred. #LI-Onsite#LI-KA1
