Description We are seeking talented Level 1 and Level 2 Machinists
to join our team on the 1st shift. This role involves setting up
and operating multiple CNC Lathe machines, primarily focusing on
lathes, with the possibility of working on a few mills.
Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines, including
Okuma and similar brands. Perform 1-3 set ups per day. Conduct
first-piece and final piece inspections. Utilize Fanuc controls
effectively. Apply production or job shop experience to ensure
quality and efficiency. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of CNC
experience, specifically with lathes. Proficiency in setting up
machines, with experience in completing at least 2-3 set ups per
day. Familiarity with Fanuc controls. Experience with micrometers
and calipers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with
mills. Programming experience, including G-code knowledge. Why Work

tenure. Work Environment Work in a clean machine shop equipped with
about 20 CNC machines, including mills and lathes. Our facilities
consist of two separate buildings, and you may rotate between them.
The 1st shift operates from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, while the 2nd shift
runs from 2 PM to midnight, Monday to Friday. Expect to adhere to a
dress code of jeans and a work t-shirt, with steel-toed boots, a
hard hat, safety glasses, and ear plugs required on the shop floor.
All protective gear, except boots, is provided. Uniforms will be
issued upon becoming a permanent employee. Job Type & Location This
is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, IL. Pay and
Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
