Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in prototype and low-volume production, is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CNC Machinist/Programmmer Location: Richfield, WI Pay Range: $25-30/hour Shift: 1st shift What's the Job? Create programs directly at the CNC controller using conversational programming techniques. Perform tool selection, fixture setup, and work offset calibration to ensure precision. Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications for accurate machining. Inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges, making adjustments to maintain tolerances. Identify and troubleshoot machining issues such as tool wear, chatter, or finish anomalies to maintain quality and efficiency. What's Needed? Proven experience in CNC machining with a focus on conversational programming. Deep understanding of speeds, feeds, materials, and tooling. Strong shop math and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple production tasks. Detail-oriented with a quality-focused mindset. What's in it for me?
