Job Description:

The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for cultivating marketing and communications programs at a corporate and branch level in conjunction with the strategic vision, messages, and objectives of Novus Home Mortgage and provide direct oversight of the writing, design, and production. The VP of Marketing will work directly with executive leadership to understand the needs of the organization and shape the Novus brand.-- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:--

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the Marketing Department including but not limited to performance management, goal setting, career development, hiring, disciplinary action, etc.
• Develop and execute the corporate strategic marketing plan in support of the overall strategy - including events, public relations, email campaigns, social media and digital or web marketing.
• Set daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets in accordance with the company objectives of Novus Home Mortgage. Create and implement a detailed plan of action to achieve set goals.
• Identify opportunities and trends in the market, analyzing relevant vendors, and lead in the implementation of new digital products and updates. Define and implement systems for the digital customer experience.
• Develop and maintain a brand identity that is relevant for today's consumers and a plan that builds the business. Ensure consistent and effective use of brand impact and visual identity across all internal and external communication channels.
• Lead the Marketing/Communication Team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies across multiple communication channels such as company events, marketing collateral, and electronic media such as Facebook, Glassdoor, etc. Drive consistency of message across the business segment. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will supervise the Marketing Department.-- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar relevant field- preferred
  • 3+ Years of previous experience in a management role in a Marketing Department
  • Experience with both print and digital design
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
