communities. Under the direction of VP of Sales, the Sales Manager
Lead directs the Industrial Sales activities of their team to
ensure the attaining of the short- and long-term sales goals for
volume and profitability and communicate its effectiveness to the
company.
- Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments, and
directly supervise the sales and functions to ensure the attaining
of the short- and long-term sales goals for volume and
profitability.
- Provide daily direction to direct reports to ensure product
supply meets customer requirements.
- Ensure the best possible customer satisfaction, developing and
implementing customer service procedures and policies.
- Act as technical resource to customers addressing and resolving
inquiries and problems.
- Maintain contact with operations regarding order status,
technical specifications, customer satisfaction and other customer
services.
- Analyze and stay on top of market conditions and competitive
activity.
- Remain technically competent and keep current in new
developments within the industry.
- Ensure the maintenance of records and files and the preparation
of reports having to do with sales activities.
- Analyze sales statistics to assist in promoting and directing
sales efforts.
- Analyze actual against budget and report on variances.
- Ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of methods and
processes within the department.
- Participate on cross-functional teams to improve company-wide
productivity, communication, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and
regulations. Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree and ten to fifteen years of progressively
responsible related experience; or twenty to twenty-five years of
progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of
education and experience. Travel Requirements: The position
requires travel within respective territory. Must possess legal
authorization to work in the US, a valid US driver's license, and a
