Program Manager- Manufacturing Operations Would you like to work in

You will lead cross-functional
project teams to complete operations and supply chain initiatives
from planning
through implementation. An appropriate candidate must be a
flexible,
self-directed, organized, dependable, proactive, and persistent
project
leader. You must effectively plan and
manage projects, lead, and coach project team members, solve
problems, and make
decisions with limited oversight.
Key Duties:
Plan and execute multiple projects from concept and scoping to
successful completion including continuous improvement projects in
the areas of operations, supply chain, IT and new product
introduction.
General Project Management (forming project teams, financial
budgeting, assigning & tracking tasks, identifying & mitigating
project risks, facilitating problem solving, etc.).
Facilitate planning workshops to construct detailed project
schedules, scaling exercises appropriately for the associated
complexity of the given initiative.
Lead weekly project Tier sessions, ensuring adherence to critical
path. Prompt and support problem solving when deviations from plan
occur.
Reporting to suitable steering group(s) with regular cadence to
provide transparent communication of project status and issues as
well as implementation of actions given by said steering group.
Request support when needed.
Initiating and participating in continuous improvement of processes
and development practices to further enhance capacity,
predictability, capability and quality.
Authority
& Responsibilities:
Effectively organize and lead cross-functional project teams using
project management and leadership skills. Using strong
communication skills and attention to details, direct the
activities of internal and external team members to meet project
objectives.
Plan, monitor and coordinate project tasks, as well as maintain and
update project plans and schedules.
Independently manage a diverse scope of projects with limited
supervision.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferred.
PMP certification (or equivalent), preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
Required:
Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse
group of cross-functional stakeholders in Operations, Marketing,
R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing and Finance.
Strong communication skills and attention to details.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, as needed.
Experience
Required:
4+ years of related work experience.
2+ years of project management experience.
Experience with project management software and Microsoft Suite
applications.
