here.Schedule Details: Flexibility in schedule with anticipated 24
hours per week; weekend assignments as needed.About Us:The
Department operates two inpatient service locations, one on the
Waukesha Memorial Hospital Campus and one at Oconomowoc Memorial
Hospital. These two locations combine to complete over 2,000
inpatient visits monthly. Clinical staff cares for patients with a
variety of orthopedic, neurologic, and medical diagnoses. The
department has 16 physical therapists, 7 physical therapist

support in the delivery of patient care in the inpatient hospital
setting. Transport patients and assist in treatments under
therapist direct supervision. Perform simple maintenance tasks.
Perform clerical tasks including, but not limited to, patient
scheduling, ordering supplies and data entry.Responsibilities:
Identify correct patient following departmental and hospital
procedures. Transports patients in wheelchairs or other conveyances
through corridors, doorways and in/out of elevators. Communicates
with nursing personnel and other caregivers related patient safety
and function. Ambulates with patients in hallways and room using
appropriate assistive and safety devices per therapist direction.
Performs patient transfers from chair to bed, bed to chair, chair
to chair, etc., using proper safe handling techniques and
appropriate equipment or assistance. Assist therapist with
therapeutic interventions per therapist's instruction Maintains the
supply of department equipment such as walkers, crutches, and other
devices. Maintains inventory, orders, receives and stores supplies;
delivers equipment to units and therapists upon request. Liaison
with DME consignment vendors. Assists therapists in scheduling
patients. Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by
Supervisor and/or Manager.What you will need: High school diploma
or equivalent. Completed Certified Nursing Assistant program or
equivalent. Equivalent may include, but is not limited to
completion of PTA or OTA program. At least 1 year of related
