We Are Hiring: -Registered Nurse (RN) - Waukesha - Operating Room - FTE (Days/PM) Rotation) - -Schedule: Day/PM shift that runs until 2130; 10 (11-2130) or 12 (09-2130) hour shifts -call rotation to cover the department for nights, weekends, and call is 1 night per week and 1 weekend per 6-week schedule. -In a single day, staff from 4 specialty based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, -to Plastics surgery. Waukesha Memorial Hospitals Operating Rooms average 8,500 procedures annually including -da Vinci Robotic procedures performed within more specialties routinely than any other facility in SE Wisconsin. -The OR suite also includes a newly built Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room. - -What You Will Do:The Operating Room Clinical Nurse - is a competent practitioner who integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families. Care is delivered using a deliberate, systematic approach and practice is guided by increasing awareness of patterns of patient responses in recurrent situations. These nurses demonstrate mastery of most technical skills, and begin to view clinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provide professional nursing care within clinical areas/campuses as required by staffing matrices. - - - - -The ProHealth Care Operating Room Team is divided into four sub-specialty teams: Ortho/Neuro; Heart; General/Vascular; and GYN/GU. Nurses on these teams typically work 2-3 cases per schedule, depending on the specialty. -Qualifications:

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse License
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes during on-call schedule
