Job Description:
Seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for part-time,
consistent hours at assisted living with memory care. Provides
patient-centered speech, language, hearing, swallowing, and
cognition treatments. Evaluates patients, develops individualized
plans, and documents progress regularly. Collaborates with
interdisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to maximize
functional abilities. Instructs on exercises and therapeutic
procedures, referring patients for additional services when needed.
Participates in team meetings, continuing education, quality
improvement, and community outreach. Requires a Master--------s in
Speech/Language Pathology, current state license, and preferably
one year of geriatric rehab experience. Must meet ASHA
certification requirements, possess excellent communication skills,
and be proficient with computers.
