Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Per Diem /n Work Schedule: /n As needed. This position will work at University Hospital. /n Be part of something remarkable /n Join the 1 hospital in Wisconsin! /n We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray to: /n /n - Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. /n - Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. /n - Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. /n - Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research. /n /n /n Qualifications/n /n /n /n /n - Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required /n - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred /n /n /n /n Work Experience/n /n /n /n - Previous healthcare experience Required /n - 2 years of clinical experience Preferred /n /n /n /n Licenses & Certifications/n /n /n /n - ARRT Radiography (R) certification Upon Hire Required /n - Wisconsin Radiological License within 3 months /n - CPR certification within 3 months Required /n - If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role, Bone Mineral Densitometry certification within 30 months Required /n /n /n /n /n Our commitment to Social Impact and Belonging /n UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
