Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Crisis Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team of professionals. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate and provide comprehensive support and services to individuals and families during crisis situations, encompassing guidance in areas such as addiction support, emergency disaster response, and community living assistance. This position requires a compassionate approach and a steadfast commitment to promoting health, healing, and hope within vulnerable communities. Assess and identify client needs during crisis situations to facilitate appropriate responses and support. Coordinate with multiple service providers to organize timely and effective care for clients. Maintain records of interactions, interventions, and outcomes. Provide emergency response services and coordinate disaster relief efforts. Educate clients and families on available resources and support systems. Advocate for clients and assist in navigating various social services systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage high-stress situations Competency in crisis intervention techniques Knowledge of local resources and systems for social services Proficiency in case management software and tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent preferred Certification in crisis intervention or disaster management is a plus
