Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
(RN) to join our Emergency Department team at the forefront of our
mission to transform healthcare. As part of Ascension, a

supportive and innovative environment. Our Emergency Department is
a critical point of care for our community, dealing with a full
spectrum of patient conditions, offering an opportunity for you to
showcase your skills in a high-impact setting. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to patients in our Emergency Department.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, including
triage duties. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to
enhance patient care. Ensure patient safety and adherence to proper
medical and nursing protocols. Educate patients and their families
on prevention and healthy habits. Document patient care services by
charting and entering information into patient medical records.
Maintain continuity among nursing teams by documenting and
communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. High
proficiency in emergency medical procedures and protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work
effectively in high-pressure situations. Strong organizational and
multi-tasking skills. Proficient in clinical EMR (Electronic
Medical Records) software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state
of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
