Job Description:

Ascension is seeking a dedicated RN focused on PACU/Recovery to join our compassionate team, transforming healthcare through our innovative systems. As part of a faith-based organization, you will play a pivotal role in offering patient-centered, personalized postoperative care within our state-of-the-art facilities. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to improving patient outcomes through targeted, individualized recovery protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and adjust recovery plans based on postoperative needs. Provide immediate postoperative care and pain management according to physician orders and evidence-based practices. Educate patients and their families on post-surgery home care requirements and health management. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Assess, identify, and intervene in the event of postoperative complications to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Participate in continuous educational opportunities to improve patient care practices and outcomes. Strong clinical skills in a surgical setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to respond effectively to complex patient needs Proficiency in using medical software and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice BLS Certification required ACLS Certification preferred Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification a plus
