Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient rehab position focused on orthopedic and geriatric patients. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Outpatient clinic setting with a focus on orthopedic cases and patients aged 10 through geriatric - Typical diagnoses include orthopedic conditions, neurological, sports medicine, and occasional inpatient post-op care such as s/p TKA, THA, or abdominal surgery - Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM - No weekend or on-call requirements - No floating required within the facility - Epic is used for charting and documentation - Main responsibilities include providing outpatient physical therapy to a variety of patient populations in an orthopedic-focused setting - Occasional care of inpatients with post-surgical or weakness-related diagnoses may be required - First-time travelers will be considered for this position - Requests for time off must be submitted up front and participation in holiday and weekend rotation may be required - 70-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within this distance are not eligible - Caribbean Blue scrubs are required /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required - Current WI state PT license required; license required if applicable - Current BLS certification required - Experience with geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and sports medicine preferred - Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years are required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-659498.
