Job Description:
ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med
Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description
& Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date:
03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg
Job Details: • Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts (7:00 AM -
7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Every
other weekend and holiday rotation required • Float to all
inpatient units with appropriate patient assignments • Subject to
low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum callback •
Work on a 40-bed post-surgical care unit providing care for pre and
post-surgical adults and geriatric patients • Nurse to patient
ratio: days/evenings 1:4 or 5, nights 1:5-7 • Fast-paced
environment averaging 10-15 admissions per day with 90-95%
occupancy during the week • Must be able to multitask and
prioritize patient care based on acuity • Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License and BLS • 2 years Med Surg experience required
with recent hospital experience • Trauma Level II experience and
prior travel experience required • Epic EMR experience required •
Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris
pumps • Any color scrubs permitted • Associate Degree or
Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred • Must comply
with facility masking policy during flu season if declining
