Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Grafton, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN - ED Backfill Profession: Nursing Specialty: RN Medical Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of ER experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, NIHTNCC (preferred) Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: This position is for an RN specializing in Emergency Department backfill. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center and a Level II NICU. It serves a diverse patient population, with a significant portion being geriatrics. The average patient load is 60 patients per day. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4 during both day and night shifts. Skills required include PIV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and administration of TPA (preferred). Support on the unit includes a charge nurse available to take a patient load. Staffing also includes a respiratory therapist, hospitalists, pharmacy, and EICU support available 24/7. The charting system used is Epic. The schedule includes weekend rotation every other weekend. Time off may be approved with advance notice. Holiday expectations include one summer and one winter holiday. The culture encourages engagement, teamwork, and collaboration. Scrub color must be professional.
