Job Description:
Ascension, a leader in faith-based healthcare, is seeking a
dedicated and skilled Lead CT Technologist to join our team. As
part of our commitment to transforming healthcare with compassion
and innovation, this role will oversee and drive the provision of
superior CT imaging services across our network. The Lead CT
Technologist will work to enhance patient outcomes, adhere to
safety standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of
our imaging services. This pivotal role not only supports our
mission by providing expert imaging services but also by leading
and mentoring a team of technologists, ensuring high-quality
diagnostic information is available for patient care. Manage daily
operations in the CT department, ensuring compliance with all
healthcare regulations and safety standards. Provide expert imaging
services and supervise CT scans to ensure the highest quality of
care. Lead, mentor, and train a team of CT technologists.
Collaborate with radiologists to optimize scan protocols and
improve diagnostic accuracy. Maintain and troubleshoot CT
equipment, coordinating with technical support to resolve issues
promptly. Implement new technologies and techniques in CT imaging.
Participate in cross-functional healthcare teams to support patient
diagnosis processes. Ensure meticulous documentation of all CT
procedures and patient outcomes. Advanced knowledge of CT imaging
techniques and protocols. Leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and technical proficiency in
operating CT equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certification from the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid and current state licensure
as a Radiologic Technologist.
