ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IR Job Details: • Work 8-hour day shifts with varied start times as early as 6:30 AM • 40 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract • 1:1 patient ratio with average of 4-6 patients per day • Work in fast-paced outpatient interventional radiology unit • Team consists of 1 RN and 2 Radiology Technicians • Handle primary interventional radiology procedures • May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed • Weekend requirements: Every 5th-6th weekend • Holiday rotation required (every other holiday) • On-call requirements: 1-2 nights of weeknight call as needed with 30-minute response time • Call back minimum is 2 hours • Can be low censused and put on call (36 hours of unbillable low census hours available) • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, ACLS, BLS • Required education: BSN or ADN • Minimum 4 years of nursing experience required • Epic charting experience preferred • Must have experience in fast-paced outpatient settings • Any color scrubs acceptable • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility • Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination Facility: This healthcare organization operates a fast-paced interventional radiology unit specializing in a variety of outpatient procedures.
