Ministry is actively recruiting for a Cardiothoracic Surgery
Physician Assistant. Professionally rewarding opportunity to join
an established department of experienced providers. Requirements:
Certified Physician Assistant Position Highlights: Collaboration
with experienced Cardiothoracic surgeon and Cardiothoracic APP
Responsibilities include examining patients, formulating diagnosis,
and developing a treatment plan for patients, performing technical,
clinical and surgical procedures, documenting patient progress and
surgical care. Perform endoscopic saphenous vein harvests and
radial artery harvests, place and remove chest tubes and catheters,
intubate and extubate patients and place and remove central lines
and arterial lines. Robotic lung experience a plus. Anticipated
Monday-Friday scheduled dependent on surgical volumes; participate
in every other weekend patient rounding. Call shared equally with
current Nurse Practitioner The APP may also write prescriptions and
medical orders. At our Fond du Lac, WI facility, physicians are
employed by the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, an independent yet
closely affiliated group, while advanced practice providers (APPs)
are directly employed by SSM Health, fostering a collaborative and
