Schedule: WMH PACU hours of operation 0630-2230, transporter hours likely 15-2330, but may shift to 0630-1500 or 10-1830.
OMH Day Surgery of operation 0530-1830, transporter shift 0630-1500 or 10-1830.
Start times are flexible and adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and daily operations. Employee will be expected to work a mix of Days and PM, predominantly at the Waukesha Campus
Part Time with Benefits
Responsible for insuring the safe, efficient and tiemly transport of patients, supplies and other health care related items in a fiscally responsible manner. Transports specimens, patient records, supplies, equipment, and hospital patients between departments in a safe and courteous manner. Responsible for incorporationg proper procedures in the transportation of seriously ill and isolation pastients. responsible for transfer of patients to and from bed and transportaiotn devices utilizing sound body mechanics, safety belts, assistance and other safe transfer techniques. Adheres to master schedule as much as possiblel, responding to special requests as promptly as patient conditions and time allow. Delivers care in a nonjudgmental and nondiscriminatory manner that is sensitive to client diversity, while preserving and protecting client autonomy, dignity and rights.
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- CPR with in six months of hire
- Analytical ability to read and understand instructions , add and subtract numbers, and make comparisions between numbers and letters
- Requires the ablity to communicate with patients, visitors, and/or hospital employess in a courtesy tactful manner
- CNA license
