Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for enabling the creation of profitable growth in a defined number of Waukesha's selected market segments.
  • Become the company expert in all aspects of those market segments.
  • Provide sufficient service to allow maintenance of base business and support the profitable growth objective.
  • Key metrics include year over year profitable growth, overall gross margin and meeting individual objectives.Duties:
    • Segment Knowledge
      • Develop segment knowledge via all available channels - electronic, market surveys, personal and internal connections and customer contact.
      • Develop an understanding of market forces, customers and customer needs, pricing, technologies, competitors and trends in the segment.
      • Documents and educates the organization on the segments, updating regularly.
      • Voice of Customer and Segment.
        • Defines the target customers within the segment that Waukesha should pursue.
        • Identify the profitable growth opportunities by customer and segment, including clear Voice of Customer.
        • Creates appropriate multi-year revenue growth and penetration roadmaps that align with Waukesha's overall strategic plan.
        • Gains support and alignment within the organization on these plans.
        • Business Development and Account Maintenance
          • Executes the sales strategy
          • Develops business via sales calls and cold calls using all available contact means.
          • Make sales calls on existing customers at agreed intervals (may include inventory management, product quality checks and on time order surveying)
          • Sell at all levels of the customer, developing Sales Strategy documents for key accounts
          • Identify casting processes based on customer's requirements and specifications
          • Identifies and documents new opportunities with strategic fit where technical development is required
          • Collect and report information on competitors
          • Develops key account plans and records call reports and critical information in CRM
          • Develop and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts and business agreements
          • Maintain customer information on CRM software
          • Provide service to customers by making routine sales calls to ensue customer satisfaction (may include inventory management, product quality checks, on time order surveying)
          • Effectively integrates and manages the interface between the customer and Waukesha touchpoints
          • Build effective support networks within Waukesha Requirements
            • At least 5 years of strategic selling experience in a B2B environment with a demonstrated ability to sell value
            • Able to understand basic business financials
            • Ability to develop and apply a strong understanding of casting and casting processes
            • Strong interpersonal skills
            • Strong problem-solving skills
            • Able to travel and work independently
            • Ability to reconcile the needs and demands of the customer with Waukesha's business goals
            • Must have basic computer skills (Email, Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
            • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical Degree or equivalent experience
