-Title : Java with C++
Location: Day One onsite Waukesha, WI
Employment: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

1) 5+ years of SW industry experience
2) 3+ years or extensive knowledge in Linux Operating System (+ if experience with Scientific Linux, RHEL, OpenSUSE, SLES)
3) Knowledge/experience both in Java and C/C++
4) Good hold on scripting - Shell scripts, OS configuration scripts, PERL
5) Experience in OS migration and compute platform migration/platforming
6) Good at troubleshooting using logs, debuggers and innovative problem solving through reverse engineering legacy codebase
7) Fast learner and capable to perform independently with minimum supervision and guidance under domain expert

1. main work is OS and compute platform
2. Linux/tool chain awareness(very important for runtime SW compute environment migrations)
a. Native performance management/tuning tools and system investigation level troubleshooting
b. Shell scripting, various Linux distros, their differences and commands understanding
3. Java/C++ - multi-threading, generics/container data structures
