Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Attorney specializing in Commercial Real Estate Finance to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lender-side real estate transactions and will play a key role in advising clients on various commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects. Key Responsibilities - Provide legal advice and guidance on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and dispositions. - Draft, review, and negotiate loan and financing documents for lenders who are financing commercial real estate transactions. - Assist clients in navigating lending processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. - Conduct due diligence and prepare legal opinions related to real estate transactions. - Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful real estate deals. - Stay updated on real estate laws and regulations to provide accurate legal counsel. - Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Licensed to practice law in Illinois - 5 years of experience in commercial real estate lender-side experience - Strong understanding of transactional law and real estate development processes. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
