Job Description Job Description Litigation Attorney Title: Litigation Attorney Location: Chicago, IL Compensation: Base $115K-$125K Commission on Origination and Settlements Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation with a focus on plaintiff personal injury cases. You will be responsible for representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, and developing case strategies to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in court and during legal proceedings - Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appeals - Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support clients' cases - Develop and implement effective case strategies - Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients - Maintain communication with clients to keep them informed of case progress - Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals as needed Qualifications - Jurisdictional license to practice law - Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school - Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on personal injury - Strong analytical and research skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines - Proficient in legal research tools and case management software Benefits - Base Salary: $100K-$125K - 1/3 commission of origination - 1% commission on settlements - Medical, Vision, Dental - 401k - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
