Job Description:

As a Yard Team Lead at GardenVista Home & Garden Centers, you will oversee daily operations in our outdoor retail spaces, ensuring a seamless flow of activities from inventory management to customer assistance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities, adept at motivating a diverse team and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Your efforts will directly impact our commitment to providing exceptional shopping experiences in our expansive garden yard areas, where quality and customer satisfaction are paramount. Supervise daily yard operations and ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines. Manage inventory control processes to prevent losses and ensure the availability of products. Train and lead yard staff, setting performance standards and conducting evaluations. Coordinate with the retail and warehouse departments to optimize product flow and space utilization. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction. Implement health and safety protocols to prevent incidents and accidents. Prepare reports on yard activities and performance metrics for upper management.
