CNC Machinist I & II – Setup & Operation | Kenosha, WI Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin Company: Tecomet – Precision Manufacturing for Medical Instruments Job Type: Full-Time | First & Second Shift Available Pay: \n \n Machinist I: $21.00 – $24.00/hour \n Machinist II: $24.00 – $29.00/hour \n 2nd Shift Premium: $1/hour \n \n About the Roles\n Tecomet’s Kenosha, WI facility is expanding and hiring CNC Machinist I & II team members. We manufacture precision medical instruments such as spinal cord tools, surgical clips, and other specialized components in a low-volume, high-mix, tight-tolerance environment. \n Whether you’re just starting your CNC career or are an experienced setup machinist, Tecomet offers a clean, well-equipped facility, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth. \n ? Available Shifts\n 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri) ? Mandatory 5 hours OT/week 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Mon–Fri) ? Mandatory 5 hours OT/week $1/hour premium \n What You’ll Do\n For Both Levels: ? Operate CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines within tight tolerances ? Change tooling, make minor offsets, and monitor tool wear ? Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and machine programs ? Perform part inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools ? Maintain accurate documentation and follow GMP/GDP requirements ? Support quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives ? Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized work area \n Additional for Machinist II: ? Perform CNC setups and run multiple machines as needed ? Troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments ? Assist in training lower-level machinists \n ? Requirements\n Machinist I: \n \n High school diploma or GED \n Basic machining or manufacturing experience \n Familiarity with measuring tools and blueprint reading \n Willingness to work mandatory overtime \n \n Machinist II: \n \n 3 years CNC machining experience \n Setup experience with mills, lathes, or Swiss machines \n Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills \n Ability to run multiple machines and troubleshoot issues \n \n About Tecomet – Kenosha Facility\n Our Kenosha facility produces high-precision medical instruments using advanced equipment such as Swiss turning centers, 3- & 5-axis CNC mills, Haas mills, and precision turning machines .
