Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Fitter to join their team. As a 1st Shift Fitter, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: 1st Shift Fitter Location: Brookfield, WI Pay Range: depends on experience Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time) What's the Job? Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements Lay out, measure, and position parts accurately for assembly and welding Secure parts with bolts, clamps, and tack-welds prior to final welding Operate welding equipment such as MIG machines, ensuring quality and safety standards are met What's Needed? Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Basic knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Willingness to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols No prior experience required; training will be provided for the right candidate What's in it for me?
