CNC Machinist Set-Up / Troubleshooting (Mazak Slant Turn Preferred) Shift: 2nd Shift — 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday Overtime: Optional Fridays; occasional mandatory on Friday and Saturday as business needs require Pay Range: $24-30 per hour (based on experience) plus shift differential Position Summary The CNC Machinist independently sets up, troubleshoots, and operates CNC machines to produce precision components that meet print and quality specifications. This role requires strong machining knowledge, light program editing, and the ability to perform changeovers with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities - Perform full machine set-ups and changeovers - Independently troubleshoot machine, tooling, and program issues - Make offsets and perform light program edits at the machine - Read blueprints and setup sheets - Select tooling and verify feeds/speeds - Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure specifications - Monitor machine performance and correct defects - Maintain accurate production counts and safe work area Minimum Requirements - High School Diploma or GED - 5 years CNC machining experience - Proven setup and switchover experience - Strong troubleshooting ability - Ability to work independently - Experience with light program editing Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Mazak Slant Turn CNC machines - Lathe experience in a production environment - Leadership Experience Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Short-Term Disability - Long-Term Disability - Life & AD&D Insurance - 401(k) with Company Match - Profit Sharing - Paid Time Off & Holidays Compensation details: 24-32 Hourly Wage PI324be9ddb00e-38003-39729574
