Successful Press Operators work well in a fast paced, production environment, and use their problem-solving skills to keep the press running smoothly. They use positive communication skills to mentor operators in training and to keep the team working at the end of the line focused on meeting productivity goals. In this position you will: Be responsible for maximizing productivity while maintaining a high level of quality in all printed materials produced on your press Set up the press to run jobs using job instructions prepared specifically for each project Monitor the quality of the materials being produced Troubleshoot problems and make necessary corrections, involving a mechanic when necessary Supervise the work of Press Helpers assigned to your press Experience and Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED At least two years of prior experience operating a press, including working knowledge of 4 color, UV curing, plow-folds and ink jet Don’t have the level of experience we’re looking for?
