Job Description:
Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company based in Aurora, IL, is
one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct
mail marketing providers in the United States. Why Freedom? Because
we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology
and resources to facilitate innovative ideas, and we’re looking to
add a 1st shift Supervisor to our Lettershop team. Essential Duties
& Responsibilities: Supervise Lettershop Production personnel.
Ensure that all work produced meets quality standards and client
specifications. Facilitate a consistently high level of production.
Empower all employees to succeed. Fulfill all health and safety
duties corresponding with the job as deemed appropriate by
Management. Maintain knowledge of all current Freedom Graphics
Systems practices/policies. Promote a safe, positive, team
atmosphere. Perform employee evaluations, disciplinary actions. and
coordinate employee progression/training. Undertake additional
tasks as seen appropriate by management. Qualifications: The
ability to build and lead a team. Detail orientated and committed
to quality. Highly organized and analytical. The ability to
multi-task within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Possess
proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Previous
experience with Lettershop equipment preferably within a direct
mail environment is highly desired. The ability to communicate
effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
Intermediate computer skills within a Microsoft Windows
Environment. High School Diploma or equivalent Basic math skills
(knowledge of calculator and ruler) Fluent in English, bilingual in
Spanish a plus This full-time position includes the following
