At Generac, our success is powered by Our People.JOB SUMMARY: The Residential Program Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical support to Generac's Dealer Partners by developing and presenting training materials via a classroom setting, webinar presentation, or over the phone coaching. This role is also responsible for providing program training to other functional areas within the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as a technical and training resource to Generac's Dealer Partners focused on the PowerPlay program. Conduct training sessions in-person and via webinars for new and current Dealer Partners as well as other functional business areas training on the PowerPlay program and answer their questions. Offer advanced technical support to Dealer Partners to help them set up their PowerPlay accounts and offer guidance to troubleshoot program or device issues. When experiencing high call volumes, support the Generac Lead Team by answering in-bound pre-sale questions over the phone and web chat regarding Generac products as well as schedule in-home consultations. Develop training materials Act as a technical and training resource to Generac's Dealer Partners focused on the PowerPlay program.- 60% Conduct training sessions in-person and via webinars for new and current Dealer Partners as well as other functional business areas training on the PowerPlay program and answer their questions. Facilitate performance improvement programs with Dealer Partners that are not using the PowerPlay program effectively; take necessary steps to get them back on track - 20% Offer advanced technical support to Dealer Partners to help them set up their PowerPlay accounts and offer guidance to troubleshoot program or device issues. Work closely with our PowerPlay technical partner and IT to test new program functionalities, troubleshoot system glitches, and identify areas of overall improvement.- 15% When experiencing high call volumes, support the Generac Lead Team by answering in-bound pre-sale questions over the phone and web chat regarding Generac products as well as schedule in-home consultations. - 5% MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree or equivalent experience within sales, retail, marketing, or customer service 2 years related experience within a sales, retail, marketing, or customer service environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience using Apple products. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal) Exceptional level of attention to detail, follow through and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects and shifting priorities, moving deadlines in a fast-paced environment LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE: Acts independently under the direction of the Director Marketing.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
