The Channel Sales Business Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining the analytical processes to measure and provide insight to market conditions and business initiative effectivity enabling the Wholesale and Residential Channels to the exceed their business growth objectives. This role will create and develop a data visualization path for the Dealer and Wholesale channels while influencing the growth of other groups inside the organization. The Channel Sales Business Analyst will also act as a primary contact for Business Group Sales, Sales Operations and Marketing to provide and communicate updates on the health of the business. This role will bring innovative thinking and concepts to identify gaps and risks along with new market opportunities ensuring both regional and corporate teams are aligned to changes to the sales execution plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Create the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting dashboards
  • Pull and analyze data from Marketing, Finance and Sales and present findings and recommendations to the VP of Sales for assigned sales channel
  • Development of new tools and concepts to provide visualization and insight to management, team members and customers on market status and progression of major initiatives
  • Be the point person for Sales Management, Marketing and Finance to provide an update on the health of the business via interpretation of visible trends within the business
  • Provide Regional Sales management a set of indicators highlighting gaps, opportunities or supply changes which may impact their sales plan
  • Partner with Sales VP, Sales Directors and Business Group to develop and consolidate go to market activities into global views of channel strategy and other ad hoc items

Minimal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in data and business analysis for sales and manufacturing operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain, Production Planning, or other relatable planning experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication
  • Experience working with a business group understanding data and providing insight to trends
  • Ability to understand business objectives and develop KPIs for measurement of success
  • Excellent listening & influencing skills
  • Technical excellence with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Demonstrated experience of development capabilities with SAP BI, Tableau or Power BI
  • Working knowledge/awareness of integrated CRM tools
  • Experience in handling large data sets and database creation/management
  • Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Critical thinking and problem resolution skills

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Minimal travel.
