Job Description SummaryThis Sourcing Leader will have a hybrid role as a commodity category sourcing leader as well as a program sourcing leader. The responsibilities include the development, communication and execution of commodity and supplier strategies to ensure realization of the business objectives for assigned Business Units; provide sourcing support to multiple manufacturing sites in the US region and provide sourcing support to the New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for multiple modalities at the same time.

• Responsible for delivering key sourcing metrics including supplier direct material productivity, payment term improvement, consolidation of supplier base, and migration of spend to the best-cost countries.
• Develop negotiation strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives in accordance with the strategy. Drive supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management for assigned commodity categories.
• Drive Sourcing initiatives including Best Cost Country, rationalization of supply base, sole source reduction, lead-time reduction, on-time delivery, quality improvements, lean and life-cycle management by leveraging standardization and latest industry practices.
• Understand supplier compliance requirements and drive opportunities to eliminate compliance risk as well as driving initiatives to remediate concerns.
• Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and developing improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met.
• Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced material and services meet the needs of the short- and long-term business growth.
• Performing detailed cost analysis of components & manufacturing processes used by our suppliers to ensure highest quality at the lowest cost solution for the New Production Introduction (NPI).
• Building deep relationships with Strategic Suppliers. Driving early supplier engagement into NPI process, and long-term partnership for wing-to-wing product lifecycle.Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sourcing, Production Control, Production Planning, or other global supply chain management disciplines.
  • Local to WI. This position is not remote.Desired Characteristics
    • Excellent project management experience with the ability to develop and execute plans
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
    • Effective problem solving ability to lead and influence others (cross-functionally and globally)
    • Previous experience in NPI program sourcing
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
    • Strong experience in working within a global team environment
