Description:SECOND SHIFT 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday thru Friday$25.00-$28.00 plus a 15% shift premium.Job SummaryImplement the Production Fulfillment Process steps related to the fabrication of parts according to work order and customer requirements. Ensures machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards. Setups involve familiarity with and understanding of program formats involving combinations of operations such as profile and contour milling, boring, recessing, turning, drilling, threading, etc., to the capacity of the machine and control factor. Operates numerically controlled machine tools to perform a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring a high degree of skill. May check parts for conformance to specifications and run and set up more than one unit simultaneously.Essential Job FunctionsOperate multiple types of fabrication equipment:Set-up and operate CNC machining centers in multiple cells that include but are not limited to mills, lathes, presses, routers etc.Perform advanced setup operationsPerform work independently with minimal defectsRequirements: RequirementsQualifications and CompetenciesRequires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with computer numerically controlled machine tool operating procedures. Communicate with supervisor on work order priorityOpen to change due to emergency orders or fabrication of partsBasic to intermediate math skills and/or aptitudesAbility to use basic measuring instrumentsExcellent problem solving skillsMust be able to work overtime as neededEducation and ExperienceTypically requires 5+ years of combined formal training and experience, or equivalent. A High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience is required.
