CAA (Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant) - Pediatrics -
Children's of Wisconsin Hospital / Medical College of WisconsinThe
Medical College of Wisconsin and Children's of Wisconsin Hospital
are seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join
its Pediatric Anesthesiology Division. At Children's of Wisconsin,
the practice of anesthesiology encompasses a medically directed
team approach involving faculty anesthesiologists, anesthesiology
fellows, residents and advanced practice certified nurse
anesthetists and CAAs. The successful candidate must possess the
ability to provide high quality anesthesia care to a complex
pediatric patient population, working directly under the
supervision of our Pediatric Anesthesiologists and as part of a
team of highly trained and dedicated team of CAAs and
CRNAs.Responsibilities:
* Role dedicated to pediatrics with ability to grow and develop
expertise in pediatric subspecialities
* Flexible scheduling: 3x13s, 4x10s, 7x70s
* No Weekend Call, opportunity for premium pay

Physician resident and fellow training programs, we offer a Master
of Science in Anesthesia program - one of just 12 in the nation. We
launched our program in 2016, recognizing a growing need for
skilled anesthetists in Wisconsin and throughout the country. The
program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of
Allied Health Education Programs.ResearchResearch in the Department
is internationally recognized for its contributions to calcium
channel biophysics, vascular reactivity, myocardial protection, and
experimental neurosciences, with a focus on traumatic brain injury
and the physiology and pharmacology of pain modulation. Our
research is supported by funding from the National Institutes of
Health, National Science Foundation, Department of Defense,
Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin, the VA, American Heart Association
and the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research, among
