Job Title:--Electro-Mechanical/Field Service TechLocation: Waukesha WIDuration: Direct HirePay: $25.00-$28.00/hr. DOEKelly Services is seeking a Field Service Technician with solid Electro-Mechanical skills for a customer in Waukesha WI. Candidates will be required to travel for this role.Job Description:--Under general supervision of the Installation Manager, Electro-Mechanical / Field Service Technician works under minimal direction to assemble, installs, debug and troubleshoots various types of industrial equipment. Performs site installations and start-ups, achieves an on-time completion of project within project budget. Works as a member of a project team and coordinates work with others and contractors.Essential Duties & Responsibilities--- Travel as required (which will be 50% or more) to complete project and service tasks.--- Reviews installation layouts, mechanical prints and electrical schematic drawings.--- Assists with panel wiring and mechanical assembly to meet project schedules.--- Performs in-house testing on control components and systems. Performs equipment tests at vendor site as needed.--- Modify existing control systems and robot software either in house/or in the field as needed.--- Modify enclosures as required to fit components.--- Set up and operate metalworking machines such as drills, grinders, saws, hammer etc.--- Maintains a strong company presence and positive working relationship with customers, subcontractors, vendors and co-workers to accomplish smooth system start-ups.--- Meets project schedules. Provides project manager with timely status reports of projects.--- Must have own set of basic tools.--- Comply with all quality and safety regulations.--- Other responsibilities as assignedEducation/Experience--- Associates Degree in related field; equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 3+ years' experience building custom electrical panels--- Must have the ability to read and understand mechanical prints and electrical schematics and other manufacturing instructions--- Working knowledge of machine construction, operation and troubleshooting skills.--- Experienced in the use of different electrical, pneumatic and other hand tools--- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook--- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.--- Requires the ability to operate a wide variety of standard office equipment, such as a computer and keyboard, a calculator, telephone, FAX, photocopier, etc.Qualified candidates should email resume and references for consideration to ray.brown@kellyengineering.com.Kelly Services, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Why Kelly--?Your engineering skills are in demand, but how do you find the right fit?
