Job Description:
Job Description As a Maintenance Helper for Accurate
Specialties, your goal is to support the maintenance department and
assist with various tasks within the facility, on the facility
grounds, shipping dedartment and other tasks as requested. You will
do this by:
- Performing routine building maintenance duties, including
painting, minor repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and systems
maintenance
- Providing technical assistance to special projects as
assigned
- Cleaning the interior of the building, as well as machinery and
equipment, and exterior of the building
- Adjusting functional parts of devices and control
instruments
- Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and
reporting maintenance statuses to supervisor
- Assisting in the shipping department to build boxes, retrieve
products, label outgoing packages and organize product flow
and
- Welding, performing sheet metal work, employing basic shop
floor skills (lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking
tools)
- Installing, moving, and relocating machinery/equipment as

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Experience troubleshooting bearings, belts, sheaves, sprockets,
chains, and gear reducers and proper alignment of these drive
devices Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical technology or a related
field
- Experience driving a forklift
- Experience with Variable frequency drives (VFD)Additional
Abilites & Skills:
- Ability to write and apply PLC programs with appropriate
documentation
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints and equipment manuals
- Ability to read and assimilate any technical documentation to
assist in the use or repair of any control devicePhysical - Visual
Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to wear appropriate, required PPE
- Ability to work in both humid and cold environmentsWork
Environment:
- Machine Shop: Loud (Examples: CNC machines, grinding,
manufacturing department)
- Foundry: Heat (melt/pour environment)Reasonable accommodations
