NOW HIRING A PART - TIME VETERINARY TECHNICIANWisconsin Veterinary Referral Center is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team in Waukesha, WI. This is a part time position for Saturday's and Sunday's and there are openings on all shifts.About WVRC: - -WVRC, Waukesha is recognized as a certified Level 1 Emergency and Critical Care Facility by the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS).We have three hospital locations: Waukesha, Racine and Grafton all -dedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care.   • Ability to work at least 1 shift every week
  • Minimum of 1 -year -of technical experience (ER experience preferred but not required)
  • CVT required at time of hire or within two years of hire
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Advanced technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is required.
