Fathom's extensive certifications include ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 Design, ISO 13485:2016, AS9100:2016, NIST 800-171 and ITAR.Logistics Trade/Compliance Specialist Position Summary:The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily transactional activities that relate to supporting Fathom's Import/Export Logistics and Compliance program. This involves working closely with all stakeholders including internal sales/support, Fathom suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure compliance with various corporate and government regulations and requirements.Logistics Trade/Compliance Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing all aspects of import/export order fulfilment including generation of export documentation (Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Shipper's Letter of Instruction, etc.)
  • Processing import/export orders (Customer Orders and Shipping Orders), filing AES/EEI declarations in ACE or declaration of appropriate AES/EEI exemption on export documents.
  • Assisting internal and external customers with international logistics related questions.
  • Ensuring recordkeeping is compliant with guidelines set forth by various government agencies and corporate policy.
  • Soliciting international freight quotes and securing booking arrangements with carriers and freight forwarders.
  • Assist in the development of systems, procedures, and work instructions for export shipment processing with a focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Analyze and report on overall freight spend by category, inbound vs outbound, transportation vs duties/taxes, etc. Build out shipping analytics and reporting program.Logistics Trade/Compliance Specialist Qualifications/Requirements:
    • 2+ year of relevant experience in Import/Export is a must
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Export/Logistics Certifications (Hazardous Materials/Dangerous goods, 49CFR. IATA. IMDG. CGBP. CES. etc.) preferred
    • Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
    • Ability to work within a team and with minimal supervision
