What you will do:

Support firewalls and other security systems per best practices
Monitor all security systems for device health
Provide technical documentation
Upgrade software on security hardware to keep current
Diagnose and troubleshoot VOIP issues
Diagnose and analyze using packet capturing tools
Interface with vendors / consultants



What you need to have:

A two-year or four-year college degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field experience
2+ years of experience working with networking and firewalls
Knowledge of computer security and networking
Good understanding of the OSI model, TCP\UPD, and TCP Ports
Understanding how to perform packet capture and how to interpret data
Experience with Palo Alto and Cisco switching
Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar product creating network diagrams
Aptitude to work independently or collectively with a team
Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues
Excellent communication skills
