POSITION SUMMARYThe Field Sales Manager will be responsible developing and growing a book of business for the Beverage Division of The Boelter Companies. The sales territory will include the states of Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Northern California. This position is responsible for managing the business relationships of approximately 150 craft breweries, craft distilleries, and wineries; most of which are existing customers with many high impact named prospects.   • Provide highest level of service to both internal and external customers including customer relationship management.
  • Manage around 100 existing customers while developing new business at around 50 named prospects in WA, OR, AK and Northern CA.
  • Responsible for direct selling of branded brewery point of sale merchandise with a strong focus on glassware and tap handles.
  • Focus is on growing existing customers and developing new accounts.
  • Manage opportunities and sales activity in HubSpot.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity, and quality, while reducing costs.
  • Be knowledgeable on the product and services offered by our suppliers to provide customers with the best solutions for their program needs.
  • Both written and verbal communication styles must be presented in a confident, articulate, and professional manner.
  • Travel in market for face to face meetings with customers. Essential business travel to be determined but will likely amount to one week per month in market (25%). PERFORMANCE BEHAVIORS (COMPETENCIES)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in related field or 3-5 years of related experience. Note additional years of education and experience may be substituted for each other, as determined by Human Resources. Ability to read, write and speak English is a requirement of this position. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of SAP a plus.
