This individual will use a lathe, surface grinder, milling machine, etc. to maintain and create stamping dies. This individual will also be working closely with management on creative solutions and projects that assists our organization's production team to be more efficient and effective where necessary. Responsibilities: Maintain exiting stamping dies Creating new stamping dies for small parts Maintain and lift the organization's quality standard Learn and apply different manufacturing techniques Complete projects and assist production in a timely manner Keep a positive and open mindset Help the organization advance by working close with management Work well with others in the organization Sustain open and effective communication Have accountability and integrity Develop ownership of your position within the organization Qualifications: Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a tool and die maker or in a tool room position Must know how to create dies from scratch Must know how to sharpen drills, tools, dies, etc. Must know how to read engineering drawings Experience driving a forklift (Not required) Long-Term Employee
